Board of Directors

The World Prayers Project was organized in June 2001 under the Nonprofit Public Benefit Corporation Law for charitable purposes. Our current directors include:

  • Jody Baxter
    President, The World Prayers Project
Internet Developer & Designer, Mandala Net Design

Jody is the president and founding director of The World Prayers Project. He is also a co-owner and design partner of Mandala Net Design, an Internet consulting, design and development company. During a long illness in the early 90's, the first seeds of the World Prayers project took root and as he recovered, Jody designed, built and finally launched the World Prayers website on December 31, 1999. World Prayers quickly became the leading resource on the Internet for prayer study and inspiration. By the spring of 2001, World Prayers had received international recognition as one of the best spirituality websites in the world. Due to the overwhelming global response and popularity of the site, Jody formed the nonprofit corporation in June 2001, to oversee the continuing development of the project. Today, World Prayers has grown into the largest and most popular multi-cultural prayer site in the world.
